A new sheep~! So exciting! Which also adds up to more responsibilities~! I hope I'd be a good enough shepherd to my new sheep :) This will be a good time to practice on my communication skill (Yay GOD! You are working wonders in me~!).

It's such a breakthrough considering that I used to be skeptical about being a shepherd. There's lots of things I have to learn and I've got to build up on my leadership skill and charisma. It's very important to have these when you want to work in the outside world. And now, I'm learning all these through doing GOD's work :) GOD, work through me as what you deem fit for I know you have secured a future for me!

AMEN!

I've found a job. Well, actually it's more like I asked for a job. I will be working at my cousin's tuition centre. Let's see...

...I will be doing typing most of the time and maybe some freelance drawing. Hey, did I mentioned that I do freelance? LOL.

~

Gladly hire me for any lineart projects. Price is negotiable. I will be posting some of my recent lineart to prove my worth as a freelance Manga artist :)

~

Anyway, I got a job and it's $6/hour. Quite reasonable considering that I will be further paid for teaching my cousin's children basic japanese and charging freelance drawing by the piece.

While talking to my cousin on the phone an hour ago, she told me Cheryl (her daughter) had completed Grade 5 piano and is now the best scoring Grade 5 student in Singapore. Wow. And she'll be taking her Grade 8 in a few months time and best of all...she's only 9?! Speaking of prodigy. Now here is one right infront of me, who's my niece of some kind...

*clenched hands and smirked evily*

Now, how should I charge for the japanese lessons? Hmmm...Any suggestion? What is the market rate for a japanese-teaching teacher who herself is not a native? Maybe I should plan out my teaching materials first before dealing with this.

Even though it took me so long to secure a job (which I could have asked earlier...Sigh*), GOD really blessed me. I mean, where can you get such a good deal of $6/hour on a job when the company isn't even short of hand? LOL. My cousin is so generous. Thank GOD for her. I hope to convert her someday... just have to find the right opportunity to share to her...

If I'm not wrong, my drawing skills is very much sought after, considering that people are willing to pay $5 per piece just tracing pictures. Mind you, it's TRACING, not drawing as yet. See my point?

Ok, no point plainly making my stand and not proving with evidence of any kind. A picture speaks a thousand words, I know. So here's a few lineart drawings for you to feast your eyes on. Mind you, they are my original characters design and it took me 2 hours to complete them (incredible huh?). I work well when inspiration comes. And of course, I work even better under stress. All these lineart are done last minute for an entrance portfolio to be sent to NTU (see what i mean?).

Here goes:

^This is not my character design. And it's obviously 'L'. But I chibified him. It's my original design idea though :)

^This, is one of the 2 hours marathon drawings.

^Yup, the 2 hour thing with a little touch up using fireworks (the dotted speed lines, hearts, speech balloon and speech) ^-^;

^Muahahahaha~!!!

^Oranges, anyone?
